“Guys” when used to describe people is a bit of a grey area, but “guys” used to address people is usually gender neutral these days. I think you’re safe.

One way to tell if something is sexist is to flip gender roles. Replace “guys” with “gals”. If you’d call it “Gals! Stop Pressing Buttons!” just as easily, then no, it’s probably not. But then, why not just use that instead? If that bothers you, then it’s sexist. Or just call it “Hey! Stop Pressing Buttons!” and avoid the issue.

I’m going to say its not sexist but that doesn’t make it a good idea. I think its probably a subjective thing to people whether sexist means “against a gender” or “not for a gender”. This title might not be AGAINST females, but it might not appeal to them much either, lets not forget the importance of first impressions in the app store.

I say avoid.

I also use/respond to “guys” as a general assembly of people. So yeah, I don’t consider it sexist.

Guy relates to a boy or a man, guys on the other hand seems to be widely accepted as people of either sex.

I did a Maya tutorial series a few years back and always started the videos with “Hey Guys” or some derivative and no one seemed to have a problem with it.

Learning Unity and Blender by themselves wasn’t difficult. Getting them to play nice together, however, was finicky. There are plenty of threads on the Unity forums detailing every conceivable problem you could possibly have, though, so at least you’ll be well supported if you decide to give them a go. It’s worth the time you’ll spend getting it all straight!
